The Journey to Wholeness

You have taken a lifetime to get to where you are today. I too have taken a lifetime, my own journey of truth and discovery, to find proven healing modalities to mesh together so I can offer you a service taking into account your individuality and will hopefully facilitate you on a journey of self-awareness and compassionate control of both your life and your well-being. Taking that first step into a therapist’s room is the hardest one you will take. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore with true awareness just who you are, to find your wholeness but also your individuality.

What is Therapy?

It can be confusing when you are choosing a therapist, there are many now available online. The most important factor when we work together will be the creation of a strong professional relationship based on compassion, empathy and non-judgment on my part and you liking and trusting me on your part.
At many different times of a person’s life it may be appropriate to seek counselling. It can be to find a relatively quick solution to an impending problem that may mean only a few sessions or, it may be a deeper process of self-discovery stretching over a longer period and delving more deeply into the past. Either way the relationship between client and therapist is paramount in the success of the therapeutic sessions you embark on.

Terms
  • Payment is required in advance of the sessions. The type of sessions you may require can be established after the first session and Amanda will happily refer you on to another qualified counsellor if she feels she can’t help you. Payment can be made through PayPal by selecting an option below.
  • Appointments are made to reserve a specific time for you; therefore, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. The full fee will be charged for appointments that are missed, cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice.
  • Residential programmes written for individuals, couples or families and delivered in a non-clinical setting at Praana Wellness Centre. Particularly mental health issues such as chronic anxiety or depression or lifestyle challenges such as addiction. or couples we have delivered intensive weekend programmes for couples in crisis, 2 to 3+ week programmes for young people managing eating disorders and addiction, 2 week+ programmes healthy eating for controlling chronic disease symptoms and family therapy to help improve relationships between parents and older children.
