Virtual health & well-being private members community starting 1st January 2021
In the spirit of looking for some kind of stability in 2021 after a year of flux we are moving many of our courses and workshops that we deliver face-to-face at our centre, online.
As it became obvious that we were approaching more restrictions with this pandemic and my number of private clients was increasing, I gave this much thought and decided there had to be a way of me supporting more people through groups that was ultimately more economical for individuals and, offered them continuous support for the foreseeable future.
So from January we are going to be continuing to deliver our 21-day virtual health and well-being programmes which began in October this year, on a membership basis for the year. The programmes offer daily support in an active community and has already been an incredible means of support not only from myself but also from every member of the group(s). Choosing a topic a month has helped the members to not only learn but also focus on their internal factors at play which keep us, as individuals, balanced (or not) both mentally and physically. The subject in October and November has been resetting good intentions, forming or renewing healthy habits and transitioning from summer to Autumn/Winter with an introduction to Ayurveda and how it supports us naturally through this. Next month we dive deeper into the ancient natural medicine system of Ayurveda with our 'Dancing with the Doshas' 21-day programme beginning 1st Dec. I have adapted the ancient texts (in my teachings) of Ayurveda for our western lifestyles - something I had wished was available to me when I first began learning about thescience 20 years ago!
All of the 21-day programmes include written course material, yoga and meditation videos (all downloadable and can be saved to use repeatedly) and my presence in the private group at least twice a day to discuss our topics and support. What is apparent (from the courses already run to date) is that this safe space is an opportunity for people to tap into coaching and counselling that they may not feel they can invest in, as well as helping them realise they are not alone in these extraordinary times. Being held in a space where people can be vulnerable, held and supported is paramount to me in the work I do and if I can help to support communities through change to a better place of inner strength and well-being then that is my goal with this membership community. There are 2 x Zoom calls per month during the programmes where we get together for check-ins and Q & A's. They are recorded should you not be able to attend.
In January and February we will be focusing on fitness and 'diet' but not diet the way you might have been conditioned to think of it! Looking for the 21 day habit former that enables us to control our need for refined sugars. What are our triggers that draw us back to the sweet stuff over and over again and how do we control them? 21 days of these two months will be spent working together with the correct research to adapt to a diet that ultimately brings you as an individual balanced holistic well-being.
March will focus on developing a yoga and meditation practise for 21 days that is right for your body. Ayurveda guides you through this from an individual perspective as we are all different and have different needs. There will be daily practises which you can attend live or will be posted to the group.
April and May is the other major change of seasons here in Europe where we shift out of hibernation and into spring/summer. Ayurvedically we cleanse and renew at this time of year and these 21-day programmes will be about learning how to do this.
Between June and September the topics will continue to focus on health and well-being with some add-ons of deeper internal reflection and development...Parenting our Inner Child, understanding our behaviour and how our feelings define our behaviour.... all of the difficult subjects that disable us when it comes to handling times of stress, sudden change and uncertainty. These months will be months of exploration and you can dip in and out as much or as little as you would like. There will be less live interaction in the members group but many videos and educational material for you to download and read at your convenience.
October and November will be preparation for summer into the Autumn/Winter months (these times are so important) with our Reset and Transition programmes.
The idea behind this virtual membership is that we will always be here for you. The 21-day programmes are completely flexible and there is no pressure for you to be anywhere or do anything. All of the material remains available. The choices are yours but we are there for you as and when you need. Having reflected on 2020 I have had to make a decision that for the next year at least, my focus will be moving many of the courses I deliver in person, online. This then removes a little of the uncertainty in 2021 as the Praana Wellness community know that for this coming year we will be here for you. Offering the support and knowledge you need to help you move through whatever the year has in store for us.
Currently we are asking for a contribution of £30-50 for each individual 21-day monthly programme. From January, in the hope that we can support more of our global community, we have developed an annual membership that will give you full access to each monthly online programme and full support through the private members group. The cost of this annual membership is just £99 for 12 months.
If you sign up by the 30th November we will not only give you a free downloadable yoga nidra but we will give you the opportunity to buy 2 further memberships as gift certificates for friends and family at the same price! Over the year that's a pretty awesome saving and not to mention a great investment in your health and well-being.
