Pranayama, one of the eight limbs of yoga practice, is the vital breath work associated with your practice. Used for healing, restorative yoga practice, regulating sleep patterns and balancing mind/ body. It can be taught as a class on its own or will be taught as part of the regular yoga classes.

More About Pranayama

My awakening to Pranayama was as a result of studying for two and a half years with an ayurvedic doctor and yoga master. He taught me the power of a ‘life force’ breath, as apposed to our regular day-to-day breath. I believe that even two ten minute intervals of pranayamic exercises a day can assist with both physical and mental wellbeing in terms of maintenance and longevity of life.
